How to Manage Your Uploaded Images Using PicGlobe's Expiry Features

Why Expiry Control Matters

Not every image needs to live online forever. A screenshot shared in a support ticket, a temporary promotion banner, or a one-time event photo — these all have a natural lifespan. PicGlobe gives you full control.

Available Expiry Options

  • 1 Hour — ideal for temporary sharing in live chats or support sessions
  • 1 Day — for daily promotions or time-sensitive content
  • 1 Week — for weekly campaigns or project reviews
  • 1 Month — for monthly reports or seasonal content
  • 1 Year — for long-running campaigns
  • Forever — the default; your image never expires

How to Set Expiry

Before uploading, simply select your preferred expiry from the dropdown menu below the upload zone. The expiry is set per upload — you can choose different expiry times for different images in the same session.

What Happens When an Image Expires?

When an image reaches its expiry time, it is automatically removed from our servers and the CDN cache is cleared. The link will return a 404 error. This process is irreversible — expired images cannot be recovered.

Premium: Extended Control

Premium users gain additional expiry management features, including the ability to extend expiry dates after upload and replace images without changing the link. Upgrade to Premium for full control.
