1. Our Commitment to Copyright
WEBXO TECH LTD respects intellectual property rights and expects users of PicGlobe to do the same. We comply with the UK Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 and the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) where applicable, and respond to valid copyright infringement notices.
Response Time: We aim to process valid takedown notices within 72 hours of receipt.
Zero Tolerance for CSAM: We immediately report any suspected Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) to the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) and relevant authorities.
2. How to Submit a Takedown Notice
If you believe content on PicGlobe infringes your copyright, please send a notice to dmca@webxo.tech with the following information:
1 Identification of the copyrighted work
Describe the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed. If multiple works, a representative list is acceptable.
2 Identification of the infringing content
Provide the exact URL(s) of the content on PicGlobe that you claim is infringing (e.g., https://i.picglobe.org/filename.jpg).
3 Your contact information
Full name, email address, postal address, and telephone number.
4 Statement of good faith
"I have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law."
5 Statement of accuracy
"I declare that the information in this notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that I am the copyright owner or authorised to act on behalf of the owner."
6 Signature
Physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorised representative.
3. Counter-Notice Procedure
If you believe your content was removed in error or due to misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to dmca@webxo.tech including:
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email address
- Identification of the removed content and its location before removal (the specific URL)
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the content was removed by mistake or misidentification
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales
- A statement that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice
- Your physical or electronic signature
We will process counter-notices within 14 business days and may reinstate content if appropriate. Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant.
4. Repeat Infringers
PicGlobe has a strict policy of terminating accounts of users who are repeat copyright infringers. We reserve the right to:
- Issue warnings to users who violate copyright policies
- Temporarily suspend accounts of repeat offenders
- Permanently terminate accounts after three (3) valid strikes
- Block IP addresses of persistent infringers
We maintain a confidential record of infringement notices to track repeat violations.
5. False Notices and Liability
WARNING: Submitting a false DMCA notice may result in legal liability. Under the UK Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 and DMCA 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), knowingly submitting a false takedown notice may expose you to claims for damages, including legal costs and attorneys' fees.
